Very small bruises at head and tail of spine, very slightly loose at spine. Pencil ownership inscription to front endpaper, small bookseller's ticket to front pastedown. Dust-jacket lightly sunned at spine, light soiling, slightly rubbed at extremities, with taped repairs to inside head and tail of spine (not visible on shelf). A near fine copy in a very good dust-jacket.
First edition of the third title in the James Bond series, with the original price "10s. 6d. net" to dust-jacket flaps and "shoot" not "shoo" to p. 10 (no priority established).
