UNESCO Convention on Stolen and Illegally Exported Cultural Objects
The UK has now ratified the UNESCO Convention of 1970 on stolen and illegally exported art and antiquities. Members should note that the requirements of the ABA Rules and Code of Good Practice appear to be at least as stringent as the UNESCO requirements.
