Exhibit at the most prestigious book fairs around the world - only membership of the ABA allows U.K. booksellers to exhibit at ILAB affiliated events.

Receive advantageous rates negotiated for members in the provision of business goods and services, such as credit card interest charges and discounted postal rates.

Before contacting the ABA office please note the following three basic requirements for membership of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association.

1. Only professional Antiquarian Booksellers who have been trading in Books for a minimum of 5 consecutive years, or who have previously been Full Members (of the ABA), shall be eligible for Full Membership.

Antiquarian Booksellers are defined for the purposes of these rules as individuals, sole traders, partnerships, companies, and corporations having Antiquarian Book departments, routinely and professionally engaged in purchasing, valuing, pricing and selling Antiquarian Books.

2. Applicants for Full Membership must be proposed by two Full Members of the ABA and seconded by another two Full Members of the ABA.

3. National associations cannot accept or retain in their midst any foreign members who do not belong to the national association of the country in which they operate, if such an association exists and is a member of the League.
