"Richard Thompson Insurance Brokers are the recommended and endorsed insurance broker of the ABA insurance scheme. We created the Antiquarian Booksellers scheme with the ABA eight years ago to cater for the specific requirements of dealers and collectors of rare and fine books, manuscripts and allied materials.

Over the past eight years of involvement with the ABA and its members, Richard Thompson Insurance Brokers have built a comprehensive understanding of Antiquarian book dealing and are therefore able to design the scheme to provide broader cover than any other commercial insurance package available on the market.

We have recently managed to re-place the scheme with a new underwriter who is producing extremely competitive rates. As such, existing clients have this year enjoyed reduced premiums.

In conjunction with the ABA we are actively growing the scheme, which is benefiting from increasing numbers, meaning that we are able to negotiate our most competitive rates to date.
