A member has reported that Amex have changed their policy regarding refunds & no longer refund the service charges. Amex have confirmed that regardless of the size of a sale, in the event of a refund they would retain the service charge - i.e. if one sent a £10,000 book out on approval paid by Amex and it was returned they would keep the £275.
