Emanuel von Baeyer conducts his business from an office in St. John's Wood, London, where he is always glad to receive visitors by appointment. His clientele includes older and younger generations of private collectors, art historians and museum curators from institutions around the world. He is now widely recognized as an innovative dealer within his field and has published numerous specialist sales catalogues. His activities are regularly featured in the international press and he has provided expert opinion for private individuals and for legal purposes, and is happy to act on a client's behalf on purchases and other matters. The company is sensitive to the issue of restitution and its implications. From time to time we stage an online exhibition of between six and eighteen works from stock, and geared towards a specific theme. Emanuel has published a sales catalogue on Ambroise Vollard as a publisher on artist's books and prints (see www.evbaeyer.com under catalogues) - and is also very much interested artist's autographs and archive material, as well as authors like Jacob Wassermann. Emanuel von Baeyer regularly participates in the London Original Print Fair and Master Drawings Week in London and New York, and at TEFAF, Maastricht. He has held exhibitions in various galleries in Munich, Berlin and New York, and is a member of the International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA) and The Society of London Art Dealers (SLAD). Emanuel von Baeyer looks forward to widen his vibrant business and he always welcomes exchanges with scholars and experts on matters of shared interest. |
