Justin Croft

Justin CroftI have been in the antiquarian book trade since 1989, beginning as a porter and junior cataloguer in the book department at Phillips.  After a PhD in medieval manuscript studies I worked for Simon Finch Rare Books, before starting my own business in 2005.  I am a contributor to the BBC’s "Antiques Roadshow".  My concerns are to assist in promoting book collecting and the Association in a broad context.  More specifically, I am keen to ensure that the ABA remains relevant to a new generation of booksellers and collectors; maintaining standards of expertise and excellence in new contexts.  I have a special interest in changing dynamics of the trade brought about by electronic media and see it as a priority that the ABA keeps step with those changes, especially through its presence on the web.
